I've never had such a bad experience that it prompted me to leave a review. When picking up my order, I asked if everything was in the bag. I was told yes, they checked. My pickup order was missing 3 items, soggy bread/chips, and brown avacodo-that went to the trash. Overall, nasty food for $63. When calling the restaurant over the order, I encountered the amazing customer service from Nate when he hung up on me rather than resolving the issue. Don't waste your money here. There are great places to eat in Abilene with excellent customer service, edible food, and the ability to complete an order correctly.

Great place for a quick lunch or to just hangout and visit over lunch or dinner. They offer sandwiches, big fresh gourmet salads and soups. They have a big selection of salad dressings for salads. They also offer gluten free sandwiches.we had the gluten-free Rueben sandwich with fresh fruit which was good. The Savannah chopped salad was fresh and delicious. Also we had the southwest avocado salad which was good.

we’ve given this location several chances, they were only good the very first time we went. today they forgot the steamed broccoli so we ran inside to grab it. when we got home and i unwrapped the soup, they gave me broccoli cheddar instead of potato. the order was just a cold sandwich and the bowl of soup, which should be the easiest thing to get right. do yourself a favor and go to the one on the other side of town.

Food was okay. Small portions for the price. Waited about 30mins in line then almost an hour in line inside waiting for my order that I had ordered online. 🤦‍♀️ never again. This was not during lunch hour either.

We ate here 2 days in a row. First day was great. Good food and pleasant staff. On the second day, we got our order to go. One of the soups was left out and the sandwich was half the size of the one we had the previous day. I was refunded for the soup, but maybe it is best to just eat in the restaurant.

Decided to taste one of their specialty flavored teas. Now I love their soups one in particular that they no longer serve but what can I do. It was so good, it was almost like the Italian Wedding soup only better. But oh well so I got a black raspberry tea and some Mac and cheese for my nephew. Drink was very good as for the Mac and cheese he wouldn't share so had to be good! 😉

I used to go to McAllister's ten years ago when I lived in Texas and so my visit was nostalgic although nothing can quite live up to nostalgia! The chips were delicious but the cheese sauce was watery to the point where it kept spilling on us, the table and the food whenever we dipped a chip. The sandwiches were fine, our favorite of which being the cranberry orange club.
